Greetings to our visitors at the homepage of Neuronelektrod Ltd.

During the recent years brain and nervous system communication research has had great importance all around the world. For neuroscience researchers to carry on up-to-date research work in this field it is essential to have a high level electronic, engineering and technician background that flexibly fulfils their requirements. To answer the above expectations, this is why Neuronelektród Ltd. was founded in 2005 by László PAPP, development engineer.

Our enterprise is based on the earlier experience of László Papp. Since 1994 he has been working together with the following research institutes and universities as developer of different multi-micro electrodes :
              - Psychology Research Institute of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences
              - National Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology
              - National Institute of Neurosurgery
              - Eötvös Loránd University, Faculty of Physiology and Neurobiology
              - Institute for Plant Genomics, Human Biotechnology and Bioenergy

In 2005 Neuronelktród Ltd. was winner of a National Development Plan GVOP grant co-financed by the European Union and the Hungarian state. Based on this support we could enlarge our product range and develop different types of micro-electrodes seen at the following pages.
From 1st January 2008 - for the majority of our electrodes - our world-wide distributor is the Dallas, Texas based Plexon Inc. They have marketed our probes among others in the USA, Japan, Australia, Canada and the European Union.
